When I was studying at University of Gloucestershire, I had an American professor named Paul. His favourite place to eat in Cheltenham, was the town centre burrito restaurant called Paparitto's.
He described Paparitto's burritos as the best he’s had since leaving the U.S. That sounds like an incredibly glowing review considering how big burritos and Mexican food is in America. Undoubtedly, this led to everyone in the class heading to eat at the now famous eatery.
Our respect for Paul did not waiver that day; he was right. We tried the tin-foil encased wraps, stuffed full of meats, beans, rice with all the accessories, and we fell in love.
Paparrito’s is situated on the lower high street in Cheltenham, next to the new Brewery entrance. It is almost always full of people enjoying the food and atmosphere.
Imagine the customisation of a sandwich shop, but apply it to Burritos, now make it delicious. That is Paparritos.
Choose your wrap, soft or crunchy taco, or even leave the wrap behind and get a burrito bowl. Choose your meat or main ingredient. Choose your rice, beans, peppers, cheese, 3 levels of salsa. Sour cream on that? Guac? You name it.
Whether you head there for lunch while shopping, to fill you up before a night out or for a meal after seeing the latest film release. I think it is one of the best independent fast food places in Cheltenham, and you owe it to yourself to try this place. Seriously.
